Brookman, Rosenberg, Brown & Sandler Super Lawyers 2020

Our team at Brookman, Rosenberg, Brown & Sandler is excited to announce that two partners, Howell K. Rosenberg and Laurence H. Brown, have been selected to this year’s Super Lawyers list (Super Lawyers 2020). The Super Lawyers selection process consists of peer recognition, professional achievements, and independent research. It is an honor for a lawyer to be recognized, and we are enthused for our lawyers’ achievements.

Howell K. Rosenberg has been chosen to Super Lawyers each consecutive year since 2004. He has consistently been selected by his peers as being in the top five percent of highly rated attorneys in Pennsylvania. Howell has successfully obtained millions of dollars from injuries and settlements related to asbestos exposure, latex, harmful drugs, and poor medical treatment. Howell advocates for families severely impacted by lung cancer and mesothelioma.

Howell graduated from Villanova University School of Law and is a partner of Brookman, Rosenberg, Brown & Sandler. He is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third and Fourth Circuits, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Over his career, Howell has tried several jury trials, supervised a grand jury, and became chief of the Special Investigations Unit. Howell is a member of several professional organizations and retired from the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania as a hearing committee member. For several years, he served as an adjunct professor, teaching several courses at Widener University School of Law and Temple University.

Laurence H. Brown has been chosen to Super Lawyers each consecutive year since 2005. He has also been recognized by Philadelphia Magazine for his selection each year. As a partner of Brookman, Rosenberg, Brown & Sandler, his primary focus areas handle personal injury and products liability cases. He also specializes in cases involving asbestos-related injuries and has handled thousands of asbestos cases over his career thus far. Laurence graduated from Villanova University School of Law and was appointed to serve on the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania’s Disciplinary Board in 2003, which handles licensing and disciplining lawyers across the state. Laurence remains active in the community, having served as a member of the Board of Directors at Adath Jeshurun Synagogue and currently serves as a member on the Synagogue’s Board of Trustees.
