Paul recieved his BA in communications from Temple University in 1983 and his JD, cum laude, from Delaware Law School in 1988. Paul was a Philadelphia District Attorney from 1988-1998 under Ronald D. Castille and Lynne Abraham. During his tenure in the DA's Office, Paul was choosen to be a member of the Homicide Unit and prosecuted many capital murder cases. While serving in the Homicide Unit, Paul lectured on evidence at The University Of Notre Dame School of Law.
In 1998, Paul entered private practice and has represented people who were profoundly injured by asbestos exposure, latex glove allergy and motor vehicle accidents. Additionally, Paul has represented hundreds of railroad workers who were injured at work and filed claims under the Federal Employer's Liability Act (FELA). He has successfully litigated FELA claims in Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. During his over twenty year career as a trial attorney Paul has tried to verdict over 80 jury trials. |
